Certainly! Slim-N-Fit Boot Camp and Bridal Boot Camp specialize in providing challenging workouts for people at any level...at the same time. We can have a 67 year old with arthritic joints and a 22 year old with 5% body fat working out in thedame group and both be challenged at their own level. You can be underweight, very overweight or obese, have had surgery, etc. As long as your doctor has cleared you for exercise, you are ok to register. The registration form asks if you have any conditions, so once you hand it in, we are then aware of your conditions and can work with you on them during the workouts.
What is the cost of your bootcamp?
That answer depends on a few things. The cost breaks down to only $11 per class! Every boot camp must be paid in advance in order to ensure your committment. For guaranteed results, we suggest that you participate 3x per week. However, if budget or time is an issue, we also offer packages of fewer days/per week.
Do you offer family discounts?
Yes we do. The discounts get better the larger the family is. This is also a great way to provide yourself with accountability and motivation during the camps. Please refer to the payment page to see the current family discounts and/or call for more information.
Do you offer referral discounts?
Yes! We offer a price reduction for each new member that you bring that signs on to the program. There is no limit, so the more people you bring that sign on, the less you pay for membership. You could potentially earn an entire free boot camp session.
Who will be coaching me?
Your coaches will be Slim-N-Fit Boot Camp or Bridal Boot Camp approved trainers who all must have a college degree, nationally certified, and go through a rigorous training process. The head trainer is Eric Appiah, MS, CSCS, founder of Health and Motion. He also coordinates the continuing education of trainers to keep them on the cutting-edge of health and fitness. All trainers will ALWAYS have a large presence at boot camp and adhere to standards of practice and set guidelines.
How long is each session? How many sessions are there per week?
It is essential that you arrive on time and ready for each workout out of respect for yourself and others in the camp. All workouts approximately 40 minutes in length. Below is our tried and true proven rapid fat loss boot camp format

Highly Recommended (Pre-Camp)
I. Personal Improvement Routine -10-15 mintes: This portion of the training session consists of performing individual corrective stretching and/or self-massage for excessively sore or tight muscle groups. We highly encourage our clients to utitilize this 10-15 minutes time frame before the official start of the workout to maximize improvements in performance and to prevent both acute and chronic injuries in both the short-term and long-term.
Mandatory (Camp)
II. Pre-Workout Routine - 10-15 minutes: This portion of the training session consists of dynamic warm-up exercises that are designed to properly prepare the body for the upcoming workout. Exercises range from prehab exercises designed to activate and strengthen commonly weak and underused muscles to movement prep exercises that seek to dynamically increase muscle flexibility and joint mobility.
III. Workout Routine - 20 minutes: This portion of the training session consists of exercises organized in alternating set format (supersets, trisets, or circuits) for total body workouts that are designed to stimulate maximal muscle-building and fat loss in minimal time. All exercises will be broken down into three major categories: strength, cardio, and core.
IV. Post-Workout Routine - 5 minutes: This portion of the training session consists of cool-down exercises that focus on corrective stretching and/or self-massage to dramatically improve muscle repair and recovery and to promote optimal muscle and joint health, both in the short-term and long-term.
Optional (Post-camp)
V. Individual Q&A - 10-15 minutes: This portion of the training session is made available for those clients needing and/or wanting extra special attention. We end each and every session reminding our clients that we are ALWAYS here to answer any questions or concerns about anything related to their training, nutrition, or supplementation. This is critical because it allows us to provide you with that one-on-one personal training compoment to your large group workouts.
Workout Times and Days of the Week:
Currently, we meet Tuesday and Thursday at 6:30pm and Saturday at 9:30am at our Center Court Sports location in Canton, MI. However, new sessions/times will be added to meet the demands and size of groups. Please call for the most up-to-date information or refer to the boot camp schedule.
How many weeks is each boot camp?
Our camps run between 6 and 12 weeks in length. Please call or refer to the boot camp schedule for the most current information and to see how long the next boot camp is.
Can I go between boot camp times?
Class size is limited, so we ask that you attend your scheduled time.
Will I learn about nutrition?
Any good fitness professioanl knows that optimal health, performanace, and body composition is achieved not only through great workouts, but also and mainly through proper nutrition. We here at Health and Motion have a nutrition system with daily meal plans and grocery lists that have helped our clients lose pounds of ugly, unwanted body fat like clockwork. We will give you the tools to get started on the right track toward a complete health and fitness transformation.
What do I bring to the camp?
You will NEED:
-A water bottle (and sweat towel if needed)
-An exercise mat and light hand-weights if you have them

When we refer to boot camps, we mean high physical intensity and group training. What we don't mean is being aggressive or demeaning in any way. We will push you, but never through intimidation. As we get to know our clients, we learn what type of encouragement each individual prefers and try our best to cater to that. For some, that may be a pat on the shoulder. For others, that may mean a little tough love.
What is your refund policy?
If you notify us prior to the camp start date, you will receive a refund minus a $50 cancellation fee. If it is after camp has started, we can only credit you for future boot camps of the same duration. The credit is non-transferable and there are NO EXCEPTIONS here.
What do I wear to the boot camps?
Wear comfortable, soft breathable materials. Please do not wear anything too baggy, as it makes it difficult for trainers to analyze your posture and technique during movements. Also, wear sneakers with good support, laces (not velcro), and soles that are low to the ground (no platform-like shoes).
Can I join during the middle of the boot camp?
After the first two weeks of boot camp, you will be unable to join until the start of the next boot camp. The reason for this is that the first two weeks are used to instruct new bmembers and get them into the flow of our express workouts. However, once we have the ball rolling after the first workout or so of each phase, it really slows the class down to bring in new people. Showing new people the exercises also unfairly takes away attention from those members who were on-board since day one. In the meantime, you can fill out your registration for the next boot camp right away, and we cannot wait to get you rockin' with us ASAP! Plus, we often have "Bring a Buddy" day and special events open to the public to allow people to sample our phenominal program.
